 Role OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect / Technical Architect to lead the unification and modernization of four major supply chain assets—DPO, IM Pro, AlwaysOn Control Tower, and Supply Chain Risk Analytics (plus VMX)—into a scalable, governed, AI-ready platform on Microsoft Fabric. You will be responsible for defining and enforcing the technical architecture across backend, frontend, data, integration, and cloud components, while ensuring interoperability, security, and performance across the ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

• Help the Client's engineering team define the end-to-end architectural blueprint across frontend, backend, data, and cloud infrastructure for unifying all MSC-X assets.
• Establish and standardize unified architecture patterns across:
• Frontend: React (UI frameworks, component reuse, layout guidelines)
• Backend: Python (Flask/FastAPI), PySpark (transformation logic, scheduling, batch/streaming support)
• Data Storage: PostgreSQL (operational), Delta Lake & OneLake (analytical), Snowflake (transition/integration)
• Visualization & Insights: Power BI, integrated with Microsoft Fabric Datasets
• Drive the design and orchestration of data pipelines across assets, ensuring high availability, low latency, and performance optimization
• Lead migration strategy of decentralized pipelines & storage models into a unified Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, with shared OneLake zones and Fabric Workspaces
• Guide integration efforts with external enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce, third-party APIs)
• Provides guidance & oversight to develop DevOps / CI-CD automation workflows, supporting Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, and secure deployment pipelines
• Define and oversee adoption of security, governance, and access control models using Microsoft Purview, Azure RBAC, and VNET integrations
• Collaborate closely with McKinsey’s Product Owners, Tech Leads, Engineering Teams, and external SMEs
• Provide technical leadership to POD-aligned engineers while driving reusability and interoperability across all assets

 Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technical architecture, full-stack development, and cloud-native platform design
• Strong expertise in:
• Frontend: React.js, UI state management, design systems
• Backend: Python (Flask, FastAPI), PySpark, API integration patterns
• Data: PostgreSQL, Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, OneLake, Datasets), Delta Lake
• Visualization: Power BI (including DirectQuery/Import Mode and semantic modeling)
• Deep understanding of  Microsoft Fabric architecture, including pipeline orchestration, capacity configuration, and workspace management
• Experience with Azure & AWS Cloud services, especially in hybrid/multi-cloud architecture
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), IaC (Terraform/ARM templates)
• Experience applying DataOps, MLOps, and Secure DevOps principles
• Familiarity with AI/ML lifecycle integration within operational data platforms is a plus
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and technical leadership in agile delivery environments

 Preferred Certifications

• Architect Associate level certificate in any cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
