Enjoy sports with friends.As a Quantitative Research Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in developing advanced analytical frameworks to support critical decision-making processes across multiple departments. You will lead initiatives that leverage data-driven insights, applying modeling and statistical analysis to inform strategic decisions related to operations, financial policy, and risk management, enabling smarter decisions and ultimately driving organizational success.
Responsibilities
Analyze large, complex datasets to provide strategic insights into fraud risk management, payment operations, and related operational optimizations
Conduct in-depth competitive market analysis, identifying market trends, gaps, and opportunities for product and operational optimizations
Implement technical models to assess financial performance and business efficiencies, as well as user trends and patterns via behavioral data mining and predictive analytics
Collaborate with team leads and cross-functional departments to define data-driven roadmaps in order to support strategic decision-making for key stakeholders
Utilize advanced statistical techniques such as regression analysis, factor analysis, and machine learning to solve complex business problems and drive key initiatives
Lead the design and development of robust data models and reporting frameworks, utilizing SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools for actionable insights
Communicate complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear, visual, and intuitive graphical representations of data
Provide analytical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and promote a data-centric culture across the organization
Support and thought leadership and mentorship to junior analysts, ensuring quality control of data analysis processes and fostering a data-centric culture across departments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytics-heavy field (e.g., Economics, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Data Science); Master’s or PhD is strongly preferred
2+ years of experience in quantitative research, statistical analysis, or data science, including demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and perform complex data analyses
Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages, with a strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
Advanced experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and the ability to present data insights to a wide range of audiences, from technical to executive leadership
Proven ability to independently design, execute, and communicate results from large-scale research projects, including survey design and analysis
Experience applying advanced statistical techniques, such as multivariate regression, logistic regression, cluster analysis, and factor analysis, with expertise in software packages like R, Python, SPSS, etc.
Familiarity with advanced machine learning techniques (e.g., natural language processing, time-series forecasting) and their application to business problems is a plus.
Experience in financial risk analysis, fraud detection, payment operations, or related fields is preferred
Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex problems into actionable recommendations
Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with experience managing cross-functional projects and working under tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Salary Range (for US-based locations)
Las Vegas, NV Annualized Base Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000 USD, with potential for performance-based incentives and benefits.
