Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a Senior Data Visualization Engineer to join one of our high-impact client teams. This role is ideal for someone with a creative and analytical mindset who’s passionate about turning complex datasets into intuitive, engaging user experiences. You’ll work on developing next-generation analytics dashboards and visual tools that provide deep insights and drive smarter decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and develop modern analytics dashboards and reporting tools
  • Build custom visualizations for user engagement, trends, and system performance
  • Implement heat maps, trend analysis, benchmarking tools, and anomaly detection
  • Develop real-time data processing features and interactive exploration tools
  • Translate product requirements into intuitive, data-rich interfaces
  • Help shape architecture for analytics pipelines and event tracking systems
  • Collaborate with UX designers and engineers to ensure seamless integration of data products

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in data visualization or analytics engineering
  • Strong portfolio showcasing interactive data visualizations and dashboards
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and visualization libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, or Highcharts
  • Experience building and scaling analytics dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or custom frontends)
  • Understanding of data pipelines, statistical analysis, and front-end performance tuning
  • Solid UX instincts for presenting data clearly and meaningfully to non-technical users
  • Ability to think creatively and critically in shaping how data is consumed and presented
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset

Nice-To-Have's

  • Experience with SaaS platforms or internal tools for non-profits, education, or mission-driven orgs
  • Exposure to product development workflows or product requirement documentation
  • Familiarity with real-time analytics systems, predictive modeling, or segmentation logic
  • Understanding of how data can support content personalization and engagement metrics

Other Information 

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required. Salary dependent upon experience.
