Job Description

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of AI and data transformation programs from initiation to business impact realization.
• Operate as the single point of delivery accountability for multi-million-rand client engagements across AI and Data.
• Drive delivery rigor, governance, quality assurance, and operational excellence in accordance with tier-1 consulting standards.
• Translate client objectives into structured delivery roadmaps and ensure measurable outcomes are achieved.
• Build deep and trusted relationships with client stakeholders (CIO, CDO, CFO, COO, CHRO, and Heads of Business Units).
• Identify unmet needs, strategic adjacencies, and whitespace opportunities within existing accounts.
• Support cross-sell and up-sell motions in collaboration with sales and solution leads, expanding engagement from core delivery into advisory and managed services.
• Attract, coach, and develop high-performing AI, data, and program delivery teams across onshore and offshore models.
• Serve as mentor and escalation point for delivery managers, architects, and consultants on high-stakes projects.
• Ensure tight interlock between delivery, sales, and operationalization teams to drive unified client value.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate profile

• 15+ years of consulting or enterprise delivery leadership in AI, data, and digital transformation.
• Proven experience in delivering large-scale programs involving AI, data engineering, MLOps, GenAI, cloud platforms, and modern analytics ecosystems.
• Strong track record of leading delivery teams in an offshore, onshore model
• Deep experience in driving cross-sell and upsell motions, expanding share of wallet in existing accounts through value-led delivery.
• Executive presence with strong storytelling, client advisory, and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep understanding of how to translate technical AI solutions into business outcomes and ROI.
• Prior experience at a Tier-1 consulting firm, hyperscaler, or AI-led scale-up preferred
• Familiarity with CRM, pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and deal governance best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees (MBA, MSc, PhD, DBA) preferred.
• Technical certifications in cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) or data platforms are a plus
• Project Management certifications are a plus
• Familiarity with consulting delivery methodologies is highly valued
