Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available. 

Duties

  • Prepare and coordinate information to support the ongoing collection, monitoring, analysis and evaluation of data in relation to the monitored recommendations, including through the management and administration of a data and reporting software solution.
  • Research, analyse and assess data and policy issues relevant to the OIM.
  • Identify and work collaboratively with colleagues to develop new systems and processes, policies and procedures that support the Implementation Monitor’s strategic priorities and effectively operationalise the functions, powers and objectives established under the Child Safety Reform Implementation Monitor Act 2024.
  • Contribute to the planning, organisation and coordination of the annual report to accurately represent the implementation Monitor’s activities in accordance with requirements established under the Child Safety Reform Implementation Act 2024.
  • Effectively liaise and consult with relevant stakeholders, and with other spheres of government (Commonwealth and Local), non-government organisations, community sector, advisory groups, victim-survivors and other stakeholders.
  • Manage delivery of moderate-complexity data analytics and solution implementation projects.
  • Perform other duties as envisaged by the assigned classification under the relevant industrial award or agreement and in accordance with the skills, competency and training of the occupant.

Essential Requirements

  • Current Tasmanian Registration Working with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment)

Desirable Requirements

  • A degree or tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in evaluation and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data
  • Experience using some of the following software/tools and languages:
    • Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot
    • Tableau, Power BI or equivalent Business Intelligence tools
    • Microsoft SQL Server, Integration Services, Reporting Services, Azure Synapse
    • Visual Basic, Python, R
