At Envalior, we're embarking on a transformative journey to redefine engineering materials with a purpose-driven approach. We are currently looking for a passionate Data Scientist / Data Engineer to join our data, analytics & reporting team that is part of our Digital/IT organization.

This role is crucial in helping Envalior's ambition to become a data-driven organization. Main focus is on our R&D / Innovation and other business functions. Enable them to become leaner and increase productivity by enabling data  driven decisions across the board. This will have an effect on quicker time to market, unlock new opportunities contributes to better (management) steering.

Your Role:

As a Data Scientist / Data Engineer, you will work in both data analysis and engineering. Creating value through applying your skills and help Envalior become a data driven organization.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs, develop data-driven solutions, help the adoption of AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines to ensure reliable data flow from various sources to analytics and reporting environments.
• Analyze and model complex datasets to extract actionable insights that drive business value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions and inform technical strategies.
• Deploy machine learning models and algorithms to enhance decision-making processes and optimize business operations.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing monitoring and validation processes.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and engineering technologies and methodologies to continuously improve analytics capabilities.
• Contribute to improving the existing Data Platforms / Data estate of Envalior

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases and data warehousing solutions.
• Experience with data tools such as Power BI, AWS Data Analytics Services, Microsoft Fabric
• Familiarity with (gen)AI techniques and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for data-driven solutions.
• Proficient in English, with strong communication skills to collaborate with various teams.
