As a Qlik Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making. You will transform complex data into actionable insights that enable us to innovate & optimise performance. With a focus on delivery quality analytics and insight for Smart Metering related data sets, you'll play a pivotal role in how the data can be utilised to drive strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create data visualisations and storytelling of all corporate data to represent data findings clearly and effectively using the Qlik product stack.
- Analysis, interpretation and reporting of data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understand business requirements to identify data sources and data entities required for data projects and support with extract and transform activities
- Performing exploratory data analysis to understand trends, patterns, and anomalies which includes any data quality considerations for on-going consumption
- Provide insights and designs for Data Engineers and Performance Insight Analysts to undertake their own build activities
- Data Collection, Cleaning and Preparation of data from structured and unstructured sources for analysis purposes
- Collaborate with and support the wider teams and data users in the development of dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Undertake ad-hoc analysis of data to provide data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.
- Monitor, update and resolve service desk tickets in line with SLAs for incident management.
- Pro-actively keep up to date with the evolving technologies, tools, and techniques in data analysis to continually enhance skills and improve analysis processes.
Qualifications / Knowledge required
- 5+ years experience developing and delivering interactive dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense, and/or have obtained a Qlik certification in either Qlik Sense or Qlik View as a Business Analyst or Data Architect.
- Experience of day-to-day administration of Qlik i.e. Data connections, User access, Task scheduling and monitoring
- Comprehensive knowledge of SQL that can be practically applied
- A strong understanding of UI/UX design concepts
- Ability to work with large datasets through data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation techniques
- Documenting of dashboards, standards, data designs and data models
- Ability to take complex information and disparate or large data sets, model and translate them for use in graphic or interactive visualisations.
- Possess a deep understanding of Business Intelligence reporting with great problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity and an agile outlook.
- Ability to translate business requirements into data modelling/scripting and Qlik front end development specifications

- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards the delivery of projects
- Excellent communication skills that is flexible and a team player but is self-motivated with a positive “get-it-done” approach.
- Ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders to capture complex requirements and translate them into data story telling
- Strong organisational skills and experience in prioritising work to meet project deadlines
- Develop documentation to share with management and implementation teams
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to present the ‘story’ of data in clear and concise language to a broad range of stake holders.

- Salary circa £60,000 per annum dependant on experience
