Moraga Campus
The Lab aims to increase students’ proficiency in statistical data analysis tools as they support decision-making processes throughout an organization. This course complements Data 105: Probability and Statistics and similar statistics classes by helping students practice the concepts and theories introduced in class, master data modeling and analysis techniques with Microsoft Excel, and transform data into functional business metrics.
This application is only for DATA-105L. A separate application is required for DATA-105.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Business Analytics or a closely related field and a recent publication record in the field, OR
- A Master’s degree in Business Analytics or a closely related field and five years of current, relevant professional experience.
- Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.
Salary: $6,480 and $10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.

Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California
Salary: $6,480 and $10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
Please note that courses will be assigned to current qualified adjunct faculty members who apply during the first 14 days of the posting in the following order:
1. Seniority of those who have taught the course previously up to their average.
2. Seniority of those who have not taught the course up to their average.
3. Seniority rotation above their average up to their total annual course value units.
If the course is not assigned to a current qualified adjunct faculty member under the process above, it may be assigned to a new hire after the 14 day period for current adjunct faculty members to apply has elapsed.
