Data Analyst

Join the dynamic financial controllership team at Integral Ad Science, where innovation meets precision. We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to help us uncover insights and drive decision-making through data.  The Data Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. This role requires proficiency in data analysis tools and a keen ability to translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Data Management and Analysis:

• Develop queries from multiple data stores to extract data and be able to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends and insights.
• Collaborate with the financial controllership team to support data-driven decisions.

Tool Proficiency:

• Utilize Excel as an advanced tool for data manipulation and statistical analysis (e.g., advanced functions, macros, power query, power pivot)
• Work with other data tools such as PowerBI, Looker, and Adaptive for comprehensive data reporting and visualization.
• Stay updated with the latest data tools and technologies to enhance analytical capabilities.

Reporting and Visualization:

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate data findings effectively.
• Present data insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

• Continuously seek opportunities to streamline data processes.
• Propose innovative solutions for data analysis challenges.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2-3 years’ experience in data analysis, preferably in a financial context, is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of advanced functions, macros, power query, and power pivot, among other items.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Looker, or Adaptive
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management and organizational skills
