Job SummaryAs part of the Extreme Networks Software Quality Assurance team, this talented and highly motivated Senior QA Engineer will help in delivering leading-edge Wi-Fi products and solutions. This position plays an important role in the quality assurance testing of our on-prem and Cloud-based WiFi products and requires participation in the entire test cycle, with emphasis on automation testing

Role (What you will do)

• Create test strategies and test plans to validate features, as well as support efforts in automation testing.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team on analyzing requirements and implement the use cases into the automated test framework.
• Monitor, execute, and publish test results using the framework.
• Quality delivery of assigned tasks, according to the processes specified for product test and solution test.
• Document test results, filing defect reports and change requests.
• Collaborating with product development and test teams to investigate and resolve problem reports.
• Review product documentation and functional specifications.

Qualifications (Who you are...)

• 5+ years of industry experience in networking or related field
• Strong understanding of networking technologies and concepts, OSI Model, TCP/IP, LAN switching, IP routing and Ethernet networks
• Experience with and understanding of WiFi standards (802.11b/g/n/ac/ax)
• Familiarity with WLAN advanced security protocols (802.1x, WPA, WPA2, WPA3) and RADIUS protocol a plus. 
• Good understanding of Operating system concepts (Unix/Linux and Windows) and network applications, including services such as DHCP, DNS, SSH, RADIUS, LDAP, IPSec, CA)
• Solid experience with REST API testing and automation
• Familiarity with the following tools, frameworks, and languages - Robot Framework, Selenium, Jenkins, GIT, Python.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with Agile development and testing processes
