CMG Financial is seeking an experienced and innovative AI Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with firsthand experience designing and deploying AI-driven solutions. This role focuses on implementing automation using advanced language models (LLMs), building intelligent document processing workflows, and developing chatbot solutions that enhance business efficiency and user experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, include, but are not limited to:
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs), including those by OpenAI.
- Develop and optimize intelligent document processing pipelines using OCR, NLP, and AI models.
- Design and implement conversational agents and chatbots tailored for various business use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, IT, Operations) to gather requirements and translate them into scalable AI solutions.
- Integrate AI solutions with existing systems and platforms via APIs and custom middleware.
- Stay current with advancements in generative AI, LLMs, and automation tools to propose innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and ethical AI standards in all deployments.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience delivering production-ready AI projects using OpenAI APIs, GPT models, or similar LLM frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- AI-powered document automation (e.g., invoice processing, contract extraction)
- Building custom chatbots or virtual assistants
- Workflow automation integrating AI with tools like Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, or custom scripts
- Proficiency in Python or a similar programming language for AI development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying AI models in production environments.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration methodologies.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with prompt engineering, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS), or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
- Background in machine learning model evaluation and fine-tuning.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.
COMPENSATION:
CMG pays a competitive salary which ranges from $90,000 - $120,000. Factors that affect salary may include Automation Engineer experience, AI experience overall technical knowledge, number of years worked in similar positions, types of roles performed, computer skills, experience specific to working with mortgage lenders, and education.
