Working in the Business Navigation team:   

The Business Navigation team is the beating heart of Wyre, enabling the organization to steer daily operational and business activities by guiding, ensuring, improving, and standardizing projects, processes, and changes in tools. The Data & Insights team, also part of BNT, shapes Wyre's data strategy and architecture and helps the business make informed, data-driven decisions by providing analytics, actionable insights and reporting.  

The Data & Insights team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to strenghten its team.

Your responsibilities as a Data Analyst: 

• You gather, query, clean, validate, and manipulate data from various sources, transforming it into actionable insights, reports, and dashboards. 

• You define, build, and automate dashboards relevant to the topics you work on, ensuring they deliver value and clarity. 

• You develop proactive partnerships with stakeholders, ensuring data is leveraged as efficiently and effectively as possible to meet their needs. 

• You conduct ad-hoc analyses while contributing to long-term strategic initiatives. 

• You actively promote the implementation of data-driven solutions and help elevate data skills and maturity within the organization. 

• You collaborate closely with data engineers and analytics engineers and actively contribute to Wyre’s data landscape. 

• You play an active role in the data community within Wyre, contributing through knowledge sharing, coaching, and inspiring others.

Our Ideal Data Analyst 

• You hold a master’s degree in a relevant field and have 3-5 years of experience as a data or business analyst, or equivalent demonstrable experience. 

• You communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal, and can adapt your communication to your audience. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus. 

• You have solid experience with leading dashboard tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, or Tableau. 

• You are proficient in SQL, with experience in Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses being a plus. 

• You bring energy, a passion for data, attention to detail, and a positive, solution-oriented attitude. 

• You have a proven ability to engage with business stakeholders and advocate for a data-driven culture across the organization. 

• You are an excellent communicator who can simplify complex topics for both technical and non-technical audiences, delivering clear, compelling messages in both written and spoken English. 

• You possess strong skills in relational data modeling (SQL) and programming (preferably in Python). 

• You are familiar with standard software engineering practices, such as version control (e.g., Git).
