We are seeking an experienced, creative, and impact-driven Data Scientist to join our BigBrain team!
The Data Science group at BigBrain partners closely with teams across monday.com to drive key company KPIs and help achieve our most ambitious goals. As a Data Scientist, you’ll lead the ML and AI efforts behind your projects, empowering our marketing, sales, product, and customer experience teams with smart, data-driven solutions. You’ll join a multidisciplinary group that includes developers, data engineers, analysts, and product managers—all working together to create a meaningful impact for our users.
You will be exposed to real-world challenges such as: marketing budget optimization, building co-pilots and intelligent assistants for internal teams, predicting customer intents and lifetime value, delivering personalized recommendations to improve product discovery, enhancing the CX experience with predictive insights and automated replies, and much more.

About The Role
As a Data Scientist in the BigBrain group, you will:
- Own and lead your domains – from ideation to production, collaborating closely with developers, data engineers, analysts, and product managers.
- Translate business and product challenges into machine learning opportunities that align with company goals.
- Drive impact across multiple areas – including marketing optimization, automated customer support (tagging, replies), personalized product experience, and more.
- Manage a portfolio of ML models – maintaining a healthy mix of quick wins and long-term, innovative projects.
- Run experiments and measure outcomes – evaluating the real-world impact of your models and deciding whether to scale or sunset them.
- Innovate continuously – looking for new ways to deliver value using ML, from traditional algorithms to generative AI.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on proven experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, ideally in a hyper-growth or fast-paced environment
- MSc (or higher) in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering
- Strong foundations in Machine Learning and Statistics, with proven ability to implement production-grade models
- Proficient in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using open-source ML libraries and frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into scalable ML solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong business orientation
- Clear balance of short-term delivery and long-term thinking, able to prioritize impact and execution
- Fast learner, independent, and resourceful, with a strong drive to experiment and innovate
- Experience with optimization techniques (e.g., multi-armed bandits) – a plus
