Job Summary 

The Data Product Mapper will be responsible for designing and maintaining structured data models, mappings, and integrations specifically within the Sales & Commerce domain. This role ensures seamless data interoperability between various sales, e-commerce, CRM, and ERP platforms, enabling data-driven decision-making and optimizing business processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data engineers, and business stakeholders, to enhance data quality, accessibility, and usability.  

Key Responsibilities 

Data Mapping & Transformation 

• Design and manage data mapping frameworks between sales, e-commerce, CRM, and ERP systems. 

• Define data transformation rules and workflows to ensure seamless data exchange across platforms. 

• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, schemas, and metadata documentation for commercial data assets. 

• Ensure consistency in data models across different applications and systems. 

Integration & Data Flow Optimization 

• Collaborate with integration engineers to define API data contracts and ETL processes for sales and commerce data. 

• Optimize data pipelines for real-time and batch data processing to support business analytics and reporting. 

• Implement data validation and quality checks to improve the accuracy and reliability of commercial data. 

• Work closely with IT and business teams to troubleshoot and enhance data integration processes. 

Governance & Compliance 

• Establish data governance policies for commercial data to ensure security, compliance, and regulatory adherence. 

• Ensure data integrity by implementing standardized rules for data handling and integration. 

• Monitor data lineage and implement best practices for auditability and transparency in sales and commerce data. 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement 

• Work with business leaders, analysts, and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver optimized solutions. 

• Provide technical guidance and support for business users interacting with sales and commerce data. 

• Translate business needs into data requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals. 

Required Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data mapping, or data integration roles within the Sales & Commerce domain. 

• Strong understanding of CRM, e-commerce, and ERP data structures, including platforms like Salesforce, Shopify, SAP, and Oracle. 

• Hands-on experience with data integration tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or equivalent. 

• Expertise in SQL, JSON, XML, and other data formats used in API and ETL integrations. 

• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses and analytics platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.). 

• Knowledge of AI/ML-driven data transformation and enrichment techniques. 

• Strong programming skills in Python or Java for data manipulation and automation. 

• Certifications in data management, cloud platforms, or enterprise data integration.
