What to Expect:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into effective functional requirements and/or data models.

• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.

• Develop and implement data quality rules and processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data dictionaries and metadata repositories.

• Work with developers/data engineers to ensure the effective implementation of data models in the system.

• Present data models and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Develop and implement processes and controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of sanctions list updates.

• Monitor and analyze sanctions list data for changes and potential impacts on the organization.

• Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement effective solutions to maintain data integrity.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to sanctions list data sources, processes, and data flows.

• Participate in audits and compliance reviews related to sanctions list management.

• Stay abreast of changes in sanctions regulations and industry best practices.

What will make you successful:

• University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field. Post-graduate in MBA, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or equivalent is an asset.
• Typically requires 6 to 8 years experience, preferably in similar roles and/or industries
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data..
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.  
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
• Proficiency in data modeling .
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI. KNIME).
• Experience with scripting languages for data manipulation (e.g., Python, R) is an advantage.
