The Senior Data Product Analyst, Worldwide Patient Safety & Global Regulatory Sciences - Data & Analytics will report to the Associate Director, Global Drug Development, Worldwide Patient Safety & Global Regulatory Sciences - Data & Analytics and will be responsible for detailed analysis of the business requirements, create and propose effective design architecture, plan and curate data models as needed and develop efficient solution mechanism catering to Data Engineering and Analytics leveraging AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, Step functions/Airflow, Cloud Formation template,  Python, Spark, SQL, Tableau/PowerBI, etc. The candidate is expected to be well conversant with the DevOps concepts as well as in sync with Agile methodology. The candidate will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive our business strategy and decision-making processes. It is imperative to possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proactive approach to analyzing data and identifying growth opportunities. The incumbent will work closely with the Drug Development Business and IT colleagues in Hyderabad and globally as part of global IT product teams. The role involves exploring new technologies and identifying scalable solutions aligned with business priorities and IT product roadmaps. Effective teamwork, collaboration, and communication across the global product team will be essential, as well as fostering a learning culture and bringing innovative ideas to the table.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and implement data solutions leveraging Data Engineering pipelines and Data Analytics using multiple AWS services, Python, Spark, Airflow, Tableau/PowerBI etc. in sync with Agile practices and DevOps framework
• Design and implement data ingestion and data integration processes using modern data technology processes, ensuring scalability and performance optimization solutions in Data Mesh/Data Fabric environment
• Collaborate with business users and other stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure data solutions meet business needs, and maintain strong relationships across functions
• Ensure data quality and data governance guidelines during the entire data solutions development process
• Staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve solutioning processes
• Engage in deep analysis of applications/use-cases/MVPs proactively with a logical bent of mind and propose efficient and scalable solutions as deemed necessary
• Identify the scope and build Data Products catering to WWPS & GRS functional requirements
• Engage with the GDD IT Hyderabad Architect and GDD IT Architecture Council to assess needs and select the best technology solutions in alignment with GDD IT and BMS architecture principles, standards, patterns and guidelines

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in Information Technology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare
• 4+ years in a data product analyst role delivering and supporting IT applications with a large global scope
• Experience with SDLC methodologies, including DevOps, Agile and Waterfall ideally in a regulated environment
• Extensive experience in software development with focus on Data Engineering & Analytics using DevOps practices and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of the current Data Engineering & Analytics technology landscape including multiple AWS services (AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, Step functions, Cloud formation template etc.), Python, Spark, SQL, Tableau/PowerBI etc.
• Experience in Knowledge Graphs (AWS Neptune, Neo4j, Tiger Graph), Semantics and Ontology Experience is an added advantage.
• Possess an attitude of continuous learning (technology, domain and softs-kills) and share it with amongst teams & others in a cohesive manner
• Strong customer centric skills as well as advanced ability to engage with business functions, manage stakeholders, and coordinate activities in a large, global, matrix organization
• Communicates candidly and fluently - strong verbal, written and presentation skills
• Experience managing vendor and partner delivery with a focus on outcomes
• Ability to build resilient teams with a positive attitude
