We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing Content & Campaigns (m/f/d) to join our team at UPM Biochemicals in Leuna. In this strategic leadership role, you’ll shape and drive high-impact marketing initiatives that directly contribute to revenue and margin growth. You will lead the development and execution of impactful marketing campaigns, guide the evolution of our product brand strategy to the point of contracting, and develop content that drives performance throughout the entire commercial funnel. This role requires a commercially minded marketing leader with strong creative instincts, proven campaign expertise, and the ability to influence across teams, functions, and regions.

What you will do

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and lead-to-contract conversion across our focus sectors: packaging, textiles, and shoe apparel

  • Own and lead product brand development, ensuring strong differentiation and consistent messaging from awareness to decision-making

  • Develop compelling content to support product definition, value proposition marketing, and buyer enablement, ensuring alignment with commercial goals

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial Development, Business Development, and Sales to align marketing activities with pipeline and revenue targets

  • Drive revenue and margin contribution through marketing, by designing campaigns and content that improve pipeline velocity, lead quality, and deal conversion

  • Establish marketing’s role in advancing customers through the commercial funnel—from brand engagement to contracting

  • Evolve commercial marketing practices by introducing top-tier tools, performance metrics, and funnel-stage strategies

  • Apply data-driven insights and market intelligence to optimize campaign impact and continuously improve ROI

  • Coordinate seamlessly with remote teams across Finland and Germany, to ensure aligned execution and cross-cultural collaboration

Who you are

  • You have a minimum of 8–10 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in chemicals, advanced materials, or related industries

  • You have a proven ability developing and executing data-driven marketing campaigns with measurable business results

  • You’ve led brand strategy initiatives positioning to activation at the contracting stage

  • You excel in content strategy and development, including messaging, storytelling, and product value propositions

  • You know how to align marketing strategy with commercial targets (revenue, margin, customer acquisition)

  • You collaborate seamlessly with sales, commercial, and business development teams in cross-functional setups

  • You’re fluent in using digital marketing platforms, automation tools, and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)

  • You understand how to leverage AI and large language models (LLMs) to enhance content and boost campaign performance

  • You bring strong leadership, excellent communication, and project management skills

  • You thrive in remote, fast-paced, and multicultural environments
