We are seeking a proactive and results-driven individual to join our Global MI Data Taxonomy Team based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Data Manager will be responsible for managing and updating specific features in the tech & durable products. 

Job Description

Who we are 
In the Global MI Data Taxonomy Team, we  

  • Manage the backbone of our Market Intelligence business (MI), esp. Codeplans, hierarchies, channels 

  • Investigate new technologies and products and their relevance for our business 

  • Define and implement policies and standards to ensure the future-readiness of MI related solutions 

  • Organize regular evaluation of market coverages and Codeplans for all product groups and countries 

  • Drive the further development of the GfK Wiki 

What to expect 

As a Global MI Data Taxonomy Manager (m/f/d), you will 

  • Manage the further enhancement of the MI taxonomies for specific sectors 

  • Organize and lead regular Codeplan review meetings 

  • Develop global standards and drive their implementation 

  • Set up, coordinate, and ensure the success of initiatives and projects related to specific MI data assets 

  • Work closely with teams from countries and regions in MI, Operations and Retail, Data Science and Data Platform 

Qualifications

What we are looking for 

  • Previous experience in the marketing field managing products in the tech & durable or FMCG sector

  • Affinity for technical consumer goods and technical innovations 

  • Expert skills in MS Excel (esp. Pivot tables, lookup functions) 

  • Very good problem-analyzing and problem-solving skills 

  • Project management experience in an agile setup 

  • Ability to work independently in projects with countries and other global teams 

  • Fluent in English and very good communication skills
