NL - Analytics Engineer / Consultant

What You’ll Do
As an Analytics Engineer at Biztory, you will:

• Partner with clients to turn business questions into robust data solutions and engineered analytics workflows.
• Build scalable, reusable, and performant data transformations using SQL and modern Cloud Data Warehouses like Snowflake and Databricks.
• Develop dynamic, visually compelling dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, or similar front-end tools.
• Apply solid data modeling principles to structure datasets for performance, usability, and long-term scalability.
• Use Python for data preparation, automation, and light analytical scripting.
• Leverage prompt engineering techniques to integrate LLM-based AI solutions into client analytics environments.
• Present technical solutions in a business-friendly way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay at the forefront of modern data stack innovations and support Biztory’s mission as a European leader in data consulting.

Requirements

Who You Are
You’re a hybrid thinker: part analyst, part engineer — excited to solve business problems using modern data tooling.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Sigma, or similar BI tools.
• Proficient in SQL with strong understanding of data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud DWH platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Azure Data Services.
• Experience in Python for scripting or data automation tasks.
• Working knowledge of prompt engineering and generative AI tools.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-starter with an appetite for learning and growing in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Exposure to modern ELT tooling like dbt, Fivetran, or Airbyte is a bonus.
