Experience in end-to-end ownership of multiple data and analytics projects spanning reporting modernization, cloud platform development, and business intelligence solutions. Your ability to engage with business leaders, understand strategic goals, and align delivery outcomes will be key to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as primary delivery owner at client site, responsible for all analytics engagements across insurance functions (e.g., underwriting, claims, fraud, policy admin).
• Build strong relationships with CXOs, senior business stakeholders, and IT leaders to align project roadmaps with business priorities.
• Oversee the delivery of analytics programs leveraging Azure Data Platform, Delta Lake, and Power BI, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
• Lead and guide offshore and onshore teams, including data engineers, BI developers, and architects.
• Translate business problems into analytical use cases and ensure alignment of technical solutions with business value.
• Drive the implementation of modern data architecture using Azure, Delta Lake, and Synapse Analytics, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Govern and mentor project teams, providing oversight across project delivery, change control, stakeholder reporting, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory guidelines applicable to the insurance industry.
• Identify opportunities for value creation through AI/ML and automation, and drive POCs and MVPs in collaboration with business.
• Own account growth, team ramp-up, stakeholder satisfaction, and innovation strategy from a delivery perspective.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in Data & Analytics delivery, with 5+ years in client-facing leadership roles.
• Proven experience in Insurance domain analytics, with deep understanding of policy, claims, and actuarial processes.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Data Services – including Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse, Delta Lake.
• Expertise in Power BI for enterprise-grade dashboarding, storytelling, and reporting governance.
• Ability to engage with CXO-level stakeholders and lead strategic conversations around data strategy and transformation.
• Strong delivery management experience in onshore-offshore models, handling multi-vendor setups and large distributed teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
• Deep understanding of agile delivery, DevOps practices, and cloud-native analytics stack.

Preferred Skills / Good to Have:

• Experience working with data science and AI/ML use cases in Insurance.
• Understanding of GenAI/LLM landscape for insurance productivity enhancements.
• Experience with Databricks, dbt, or Azure Purview.
• Cloud certifications in Azure Data Engineering or Architecture.
