We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in cloud-based data platforms and automation of data workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering tools and frameworks and a proven ability to develop scalable, reusable ETL/ELT solutions in a cloud environment.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, Apache Airflow, and Cloud Storage (GCS/S3).
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data partitioning strategies, and pipeline scheduling.
Demonstrated ability to automate complex workflows and develop reusable pipeline frameworks.
Proficient in Python, SQL, and scripting for automation tasks.
Experience building web APIs or applications using Python.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS, and knowledge of distributed computing frameworks.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for debugging and optimization.
Basic understanding of object-oriented programming fundamentals.
Experience using version control systems like GitLab or Bitbucket.

Industry Knowledge & Experience:

Deep expertise in Google BigQuery, Apache Airflow, Python, and SQL.
Hands-on experience with BI tools such as DOMO, Looker, or Tableau.
Familiarity with Salesforce data models and extraction techniques.
Experience with data encryption, SFTP automation, and handling ad-hoc data requests.
