As a Data Analyst at MS Amlin, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining data sets and reporting capabilities. Your expertise in Power BI and Tableau will be essential in creating interactive dashboards that provide valuable insights to various stakeholders, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Procurement team, other ABS department and Legal Entities to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Your analytical skills will help identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, areas of risk, and will contribute to the development of effective commercial strategies. You will also ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity in all reporting activities. Your professional experience to date must be as a Data Analyst, practicing in any type of business or business team, although experience of working with procurement related data and reporting would be an advantage.

What You’ll Spend Your Time Doing

• Developing Reports: Creating and maintaining a detailed set of reports on contracts, spend analysis, and risk assessments to support decision-making processes.
• Data Visualisation: Utilising Power BI to design and implement interactive dashboards that provide clear insights to various stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity: Maintain high standards of accuracy and integrity in all reporting activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Data Analysis: Analysing data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and potential risks, providing actionable insights to the commercial team.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all reports and analyses comply with internal policies and external regulations, maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve reporting processes and tools, staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data visualisation and procurement analytics.

What We Need From You

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst
• Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau for data visualisation and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience of working with procurement teams and working with procurement related spend and contract data is an advantage
