About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Pricing Analytics to lead our efforts in driving data-driven pricing strategies. This role demands a blend of deep analytical expertise, exceptional project management capabilities, and a strong understanding of pricing and packaging within a dynamic SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a skilled problem-solver, and a collaborative leader, capable of managing complex projects and driving impactful results.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Pricing Analytics:
-Conduct expert-level business analysis to identify pricing opportunities and optimize revenue.
-Develop and maintain sophisticated pricing models and simulations, leveraging SQL and data visualization tools.
-Utilize data storytelling to communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
-Apply strong business acumen to evaluate market trends, competitor strategies, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions.
2. Data Visualization and Reporting:
-Design and develop industry-standard dashboards using Tableau, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.
-Manage and maintain assets on Tableau Cloud, ensuring optimal performance and accessibility.
-Create compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate key insights and drive informed decision-making.
3. Project and Portfolio Management:
-Lead complex pricing analytics projects, from planning and execution to risk assessment and resolution.
-Develop and manage a portfolio of pricing initiatives, aligning with long-term strategic goals.
-Break down complex projects into manageable tasks, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
4. Data Engineering Collaboration:
-Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data integrity and availability for pricing analysis.
-Provide guidance and expertise on data warehousing, ETL processes, and data orchestration.
5. Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
-Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including product management, GTM, sales, finance, business technology, and other analytics teams.
-Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment on pricing strategies.
6.Technical Proficiency and Innovation:
-Utilize expert-level SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
-Demonstrate proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Cloud for data visualization and reporting.
-Maintain a strong understanding of data engineering concepts and processes.
-Apply knowledge of Python and Generative AI to explore new analytical techniques and tools.
-Handle ambiguity and constant change with a proficient level.
Qualifications:
Expert-level proficiency in SQL.
Expert-level proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Cloud, with a proven ability to develop industry-standard dashboards.
Expert-level business analysis skills.
Expert-level project management skills, including planning and execution.
Proficient experience in pricing and packaging within a SaaS environment.
Proficient experience in data engineering concepts (data warehousing, ETL, orchestration).
Proficient experience in problem-solving and solution prototyping.
Proficient experience in stakeholder and partner collaboration.
Proficient experience in complexity resolution and portfolio management.
Proficient experience handling ambiguity and constant change.
Knowledge of Python and Generative AI.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field/work experience(e.g., statistics, economics, computer science).

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $184,000 to $253,000.For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,800 to $276,100.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
