Intermarket Bank AG (“IMB”) is a specialized financial institution for Supply-Chain-Finance services (“SCF”) and part of Erste Group.
IMB serves corporate clients from SMEs to Mid-Caps and Large International corporations, whereby Factoring, Invoice Discounting, Forfeiting and Reverse Factoring (“ErsteConfirming”), are the anchor products.
In the future also additional SCF products including Invoice Dynamic Discounting, Purchase-Order-Finance and inventory/warehouse based finance solutions will be part of the product portfolio.
IMB also acts as Group Center of Competence for SCF Products within the Erste Group in close cooperation with the respective departments and Erste Group network banks for SCF Business in CEE.

The department “Business Development” is responsible for developing and managing a competitive range of Supply-Chain-Finance products. The team works closely with Sales colleagues in specific client cases and covers all tasks regarding product development, ongoing product maintenance and support of the proper set-up within the core banking system.

Your Tasks

  • ​​​​​Design, develop and optimize database reports based on business and regulatory requirements
  • Perform ad-hoc database analysis by extracting data from complex data models
  • Bridging the gap between technical and business / management-level communication
  • Define and maintain data glossary as a basis for reports, analyses, and dashboards to ensure consistent data interpretation
  • Translating business requests into technical requirements for data analysis and reporting
  • Contribute to the (further) development of BI-Reporting and optimize and enhance the related BI data processes
  • Reverse-engineer existing reports to extract requirements where documentation is limited
  • Promote architectural improvements in reporting systems and evaluate the introduction of new tools to increase efficiency

Your Background

  • ​​​​​​Completed higher education (Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a comparable field)
  • Several years of professional experience in report development and database analysis
  • Proficiency in complex SQL constructs with basic knowledge of (Oracle) databases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a passion for working with data
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identify and solve problems through research, self-study and exploration
  • Team spirit, strong communication skills and very good German and English proficiency

  • The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 45.811,-- gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
