The Staff Product Strategist is responsible for leading go-to-market for IAS’s suite of products. Your efforts are focused on product commercialization to ensure the successful launch and competitive positioning of IAS’s products globally. You are part of a Product Strategy team that works across the entire product lifecycle. In this role, you will partner with R&D and Product leadership to shape the product discovery and delivery for solutions relevant to a new data measurement solution and marketplace for the AdTech ecosystem. You will work hand in hand with Product to test and pilot new features. This role will be responsible for defining, leading, and executing a global strategy that aligns with growth objectives to deliver key outcomes for customers and innovation for IAS.
What you’ll get to do:
- Product Strategy and Commercialization
- Drive commercialization by developing go-to-market plans and leading cross-functional teams to launch data measurement solutions in partnership with Product
- Lead with data. Develop insights by pairing your passion for users to generate balanced and thoughtful recommendations for how to position IAS at the forefront of our industry
- Partner with marketing, product, sales, and customer teams to analyze market feedback and competitive intelligence globally to:
- Keep IAS up-to-date with market trends and keep us ahead of the competition
- Feed roadmap prioritization process
- Identify monetization/acquisition opportunities that inform product strategy
- Recommend which ideas have potential and which ideas should be revised, iterated, or deprioritized
- Work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Client Success, Finance, Product, and Engineering to support IAS’s product launch process
- Lead these cross-functional teams for new product launch process and feature changes (e.g., clarifying responsibilities, requirements, timelines for deliverables, interdependencies)
- Develop end-to-end content for regular product reviews and Sales/Customer Success training to position all products for launch success
- Influence product positioning with compelling messaging for one-sheets, decks, and emails that drive a simple and differentiated sales narrative aligned with IAS’s value proposition and target market segments

- You lead with data – translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations for key stakeholders (VP+) in the Product and Sales leadership
- Proven, hypothesis-driven problem solver with a solution-oriented mindset; you structure challenges top-down and surface clear, actionable recommendations
- Action oriented with ownership mindset. You bring partners and stakeholders along, know when to escalate, drive alignment, and follow through to deliver results
- You are a team player and collaborate excellently. You care about how you will partner with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to Sales, Business Operations, Product, Business Development, and Marketing teams, to drive #oneteam success
- 5+ years of product strategy or product management experience in advertising technology/media. Former top-tier management consulting experience is a plus
- Excellent storyteller; knows how to build a story and produce great content. Able to translate complicated concepts in a simple, clear, and concise manner
- Strong technical/product acumen, including analyzing data with spreadsheet software (e.g. VBL or Google Scripts), database query experience (e.g. SQL). Application writing skills e.g., Python is a plus
- BA/BS degree required, preferably in a quantitative field like Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Finance, Physics, Statistics or Computer Science. MBA or advanced degree is a plus
New York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $116,000- $200,000. Actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
