Why we need you ✨

• You will be an integral part of building out Limitless, designing systems that help humans go beyond their biological limitations. This will include projects like LLM and machine learning pipelines, audio ingestion services, batch job processing, and more.

• You are excited to take on complex processing challenges and decide how we scale it to our tens of thousands of customers and beyond.

• Your role will be central in deploying features that respect and protect user data through advanced encryption, anonymization, and secure data handling practices.

What will be your responsibilities 📓

• DevOps and GCP Infrastructure: Use your best practice knowledge and deep expertise of Google Cloud and Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi) to code and deploy highly available, highly scalable services to GCP, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. 

• Integrate APIs: Work with 3rd party APls and internal services, creating seamless integrations to enhance our product offerings. Your role will involve architecting the backend interactions that support new features, ensuring they operate smoothly within our ecosystem.

• Prompt Engineering and ML Ops: Create, deploy, and manage AI/ML/LLM-driven pipelines and services to power our features and functionality while being mindful of Firestore limitations.

What will help you be successful 👏

• Deep GCP/IaC Expertise: You have at least 5 years of solutions architecture experience on GCP, building large-scale distributed systems that have been used at scale by millions of users.

• Deep Back-End Experience: Demonstrated experience developing in TypeScript and Python. Expert with infrastructure and deployment technologies like Docker and Pulumi.

• Experience with AI, ML/Prompt Engineering: You have a good understanding of machine learning, have deployed your bespoke models, and have deep expertise with prompt engineering.

• Frontend proficiency: While this is a backend-focused role, you are comfortable with the front-end to the extent that you can perform React and MobX-related UI work if needed.

• Resourcefulness and Ownership: Experience working at startups or on small teams, taking full ownership of your work and utilizing resourcefulness to devise innovative solutions.

• Effective Communication: Strong communication skills for articulating ideas clearly, collaborating efficiently, and providing constructive feedback.

$200,000 - $400,000 a year

The above compensation range includes salary + equity. The final package may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on eligibility, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid parental leave, PTO, and other employee benefits.
