Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

This position offers the opportunity to be part of the Industry 4.0 team which works for the whole Home Comfort Division with manufacturing plants all over the world. You will be part of a talented, motivated and cross-functional team that takes very seriously the continuous improvement of collaborators. With certified training, mentorship and the implementation in real life projects, the team (and the candidate) are able to contribute to the following areas:

Machine Automation
- Development of automation control systems for manufacturing;
- Development of automation control interfaces for test equipment and manufacturing machines;
- Design and validate new technological solutions for factories around the world;
- Test and validate the solution in a Factory of the Future a laboratory assembly line.
Industry 4.0 Platform
- Create interfaces from the machine automation to MES and IIoT systems;
- Develop and design of intelligent manufacturing systems based in machine learning.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Academic profile in Engineering (Informatics, Electrical, Mechanical or Physics), Computer Science or similar;
Willingness to learn;
Results oriented and proactive attitude;
Fluent communication in English;
Willingness to work in a cross-site project team environment;
Knowledge in Industrial Automation topics (Industrial networks, PLC programming, SCADA, etc);
Competent in programming languages (Codesys, Python, C#) and software development processes;
Good competences in systems architecture and industrial communication protocols (Profibus, OPC-UA, EtherCAT, etc);
Curiosity about new technological trends;
True team member with proactive and dynamic attitude.
