At Vestas, Service Supply chain Global Ops, we are constantly optimizing the service supply chain in order to deliver on time to our customers, with optimal inventory levels. It is an ever-developing task in a progressive environment. Responsible for operational growth in warehouse and distribution related tasks. Liaise with related parties to ensure GI is done one time and Handle system related configuration to ensure reliable outbound from global MRP locations. Define delivery concepts and network setup to meet customer requirements, Delivery plan for all materials for the service business, across the value chain, and project management of continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Power BI Development:
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Create data models, DAX calculations, and visualizations to provide insights.
• Optimize report performance and data refresh schedules.
• Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources (SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, APIs).
• SQL Development & Database Management:
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Manage and maintain databases, stored procedures, and ETL processes.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in reporting solutions.
• VBA Automation & Excel Reporting:
• Develop and maintain VBA macros to automate manual reporting tasks.
• Enhance Excel-based reports and tools using VBA scripting.
• Integrate VBA with SQL databases and Power BI for seamless data automation.
• General Data Analytics & Support:
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
• Ensure data security and compliance with company policies.
• Provide technical support and training for Power BI and Excel users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related technical role.
• Power BI: Proficiency in developing interactive dashboards, creating data models, writing DAX expressions, and integrating multiple data sources.
• SQL: Strong experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction and transformation.
• VBA: Solid understanding of VBA scripting for Excel automation and integration with databases and Power BI.
• Excel: Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization techniques.
• ETL & Data Integration: Familiarity with ETL processes and tools, as well as integrating data from diverse sources like APIs, SharePoint, and flat files.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across Power BI, Excel, and database environments.
• Experience working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting data findings and technical solutions.
• Ability to provide training and support to end-users in a clear and patient manner.
