Then you should join our agile and successful AI, Advanced Analytics and Autonomy group as a Senior GenAI Engineer (m/f/d)!

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that implements generative AI solutions that make a real difference in all areas of the company, such as research and development, production, supply chain, support processes, or others. The core task of the team is to independently develop and deploy cutting-edge generative AI solutions for Covestro.

In addition to our diverse benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary of between €89,400/year plus variable component and €108,500/year plus variable component for a full-time position. The starting salary depends on your qualifications and professional experience.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities in Detail:

• You will lead the implementation of generative AI use cases

• You will be in charge of use cases throughout the entire lifecycle of generative AI products, such as development and implementation of prototypes, minimum viable products (MVP) as well as in supporting the products in the operational phase

• You will be responsible for designing and implementing suitable generative AI solution architectures, including software design and Cloud architectures

• You will select, evaluate and take decisions on proposals from external solution providers and consulting companies in terms of their effectiveness and usefulness

• You will establish and contribute to internal communities of practice in order to shape the generative AI tech-stack of Covestro

Your Qualifications:

• You have a university degree in computer science, data science, or a related field with solid work experience in a software engineering role

• You have several years of experience in Cloud technologies (preferably AWS)

• You have solid experience with generative AI frameworks, runtimes and foundational models

• You have experience leading complex AI projects

• The ability to present to colleagues from different departments and hierarchical levels, to explain issues simply and to convince colleagues is one of your most important skills

• You feel comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment

• You are fluent in written and spoken English
