Pereview Software is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Management Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of accounting, solid excel skills and be able to stay organized while meeting our clients' deadlines. You will play a critical role in by facilitating and enhancing the transformational flow of accounting and leasing data on behalf of our external clients and internal team members.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
As a Data Management Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt and processing of financial and asset data files submitted by clients, their operating partners, and property managers. This role involves managing a queue of incoming datasets and loading various workbooks and reports—often in diverse formats and structures—while adhering to specific client protocols.
You will ensure the completeness and accuracy of data uploads by performing rigorous validations and checks, identifying discrepancies, and investigating inconsistencies that may cause accounts to be out of balance. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with team members and internal stakeholders to provide status updates and support workload management, particularly during periods of increased data volume.
Effective communication, both internal and external, is essential for addressing data gaps and inaccuracies promptly, thereby ensuring critical deadlines are consistently met. The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines is vital to success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensure timely submission, complete ingestion, and accurate reconciliation of financial and asset data files across the client portfolio, maintaining data integrity throughout the process.
· Monitor and manage incoming data submissions to ensure alignment with client-specific reporting schedules and Pereview’s service level agreements (SLAs).
· Prioritize and manage a dynamic queue of data files, adjusting to fluctuations in volume.
· Perform thorough validations to ensure data accuracy and completeness, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies, gaps, or inconsistencies.
· Communicate key findings, issues, and status updates clearly and effectively to both internal teams and external clients.
· Leverage internal AI-driven workflows and tools to streamline data loading, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
· Transform or reformat data as needed to ensure compatibility with internal systems and client specifications.
· Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues with a detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset, developing expertise in root cause identification and resolution.
· Act as a process improvement advocate by contributing ideas for automation and workflow optimization to enhance operational efficiency.
· Consistently adhere to best practices, internal standards, and client-specific protocols to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in Real Estate, Asset Management or Accounting with exposure to real estate accounting platforms (ex. Yardi, MRI, Timberline, Realpage)
· Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
· Goal oriented self-starter that can prioritize work and manage competing deadlines.
· Urgency when solving hard problems, meeting deadlines, and achieving critical goals.
· Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Familiarity with relational databases and standard languages for querying data (i.e. SQL).
· Knowledge of accounting principles and standard financial reports (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).
· Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth company.
· Able to adapt to shifting priorities.
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Computer Science.
NICE TO HAVE:
· Ability to transform data utilizing advanced excel formulas, Power Query, and VBA is a plus.
· Experience utilizing Python to assist in data analytics procedures: Data Cleaning, Transformation, Analysis, and Visualization
· Experience creating visually appealing dashboards utilizing Power BI to share with clients
· Experience working in and managing ticketing platforms (i.e. Zendesk, HubSpot and Wrike)
