Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 5 plus years relevant work experience.

Global Support Renewal Sales is the biggest component of Oracle's Revenue at over $20B per year. Our Support Sales Information Systems team develops and operates management reporting systems for the Global Support Renewal Sales organization to help create an industry leading customer experience and to maximize revenue and operational efficiency. Our current focus includes supporting the corporate Cloud transformation, the corporate transformation to using the Fusion SaaS applications, the corporate data warehouse migration from Global Corporate Warehouse to Cloud Data Platform, and the Premier Support Sales Digital Renewal Center process model.
As a Senior Software Developer you will primarily work with the various Project Leaders within Support Sales Information Systems team to improve the management information available to the business and its Senior Executives decision making processes. You will engage in 3-5 initiatives at any one time related to the goal above. You will be expected to understand the business goals of these programs both for the customer and for Oracle internally, in order to deliver relevant output and to ensure a high level of uptake and deployment.
Responsibilities:
Key tasks include but are not limited to the following:
• Design and Build and maintain PLSQL based applications
• Design and Build ETL Processes
• Deliver state of the art technical solutions for complex business rules and data
• Assist Project team in developing and maintaining systems that are in daily use by our end Users and Executive management
• Work closely with small team providing backup and shared responsibility for existing custom applications.
• Assist project management and business leaders in refining development requirements.
• Where appropriate to develop standard reports to meet those requirements – or direct IT resources to do so;
• Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis;
• Develop and maintain relationships with the appropriate external and internal stakeholders.
• Identify areas for improvement in existing Support Sales Information Systems and propose innovative solutions to anticipate future business requirements
Qualifications / Experience:
Although not definitive, the ideal candidate will typically have the following:
• At least 5 years Oracle, or Oracle Development experience
• Good understanding of Oracle’s business to better understand requirements
• Used to working in an international environment across multiple time zones
• Ability to deliver accurate results in a in a timely fashion
• Good technical foundation in order to direct IT groups on delivering information system solutions
• Advanced debugging and change management skills
• In depth SQL, PL/SQL product knowledge
• Good understanding of the Oracle database in order to deliver the highest performance in scripts and applications
• Familiarity with OBIEE, Data Visualizer, Java and similar rapid development technologies is an advantage
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud Analytics (OCA), Cloud Data Platform (CDP) and Cloud technology is an advantage
• Familiarity with Oracle Jet, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Python, Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning, and Autonomous Warehouse is useful
• Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent degree

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $66,800 to $145,900 per annum.
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $75,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
