Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for developing innovation solutions? Join our team! As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer II, you will work with Business Partners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other IT teams to ensure a tight fit between Business Intelligence/Analytics environment, business requirements, and the Data Management platforms. You are responsible for combining data from multiple sources into BI-specific data models to create meaningful reports, visualizations, and dashboards. Ultimately, your goal will be able to help your customers discover actionable insights and make data-driven decisions.Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain BI Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Data Integration and Management: Combine data from multiple sources into BI-specific data models, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Business Partners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
ETL Processes: Develop, implement, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently loaded into BI systems.
Performance Tuning: Optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability to ensure they meet business needs.
Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for BI solutions, ensuring they are easily understood and maintained by other team members.
Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support for BI solutions, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest BI trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend improvements to existing BI solutions.
Project Participation: Participate in various projects as a BI subject matter expert, contributing to project planning, execution, and post-implementation review.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Must have experience with Python for analytics, SQL for database management, and PowerBI for data visualization and business intelligence.
Understanding of Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing concepts with knowledge of ETL and Reporting tools
Experience developing reports and visualizations in a business intelligence tool
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with Business Intelligence tools (one or more of the following: Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, qlikview, TIBCO Spotfire, SAP Business Objects, SAP Crystal Reports)
Data profiling and modeling skills
SQL skills
MS SQL Server
