Job Description

About the Job: 

As a Data Marketplace Librarian, you will be responsible for understanding the data elements and metadata to help and search before procure. You will work closely with our Business & commercial functions and  EDA teams to help implement the data procurement governance model 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for the data governance implementation across the organization. 
  • Understand the data domain specific features to support the search 
  • Establish key data quality, ethics and compliance rules to help accelerate the procurement process after search 
  • Provide guidance and best practices to Business function/ data purchasers across the organization 
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
  • Create data extracts, dashboards, and visualizations  
  • Conduct training and provide support for Data & Data service users within the organization. 
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies and standards within the Market place environment. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Data Science or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of proven experience working with Procurement, including at least 3 years with procurement tools and its implementation. 
  • Proficiency in tools and technologies for the procurement governance implementation   
  • Good understanding of data acquisition concepts and best practices. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
