Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer - Full Stack Developer to help build web applications that support healthcare and life sciences research. The ideal candidate has experience developing interactive, data-driven applications and is comfortable working across both frontend and backend technologies.

Responsibilities

• Full stack development with focus on frontend application
• Build and maintain APIs for communication.
• Conduct testing and debug code.
• Use version control systems like Git.
• Implement security measures for web applications.
• Document code and stay updated on industry trends.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or ECE.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular and Vue
• Hands-on experience in developing UI Components using TypeScript, SASS
• Experience with JavaScript building tools like WebPack
• Experience building backend services using Python frameworks (e.g. FastAPI)
• Ability to develop reusable code and high-quality UI components with scalability in mind.
• Strong background in CS fundamentals including algorithms and data structures.
• Demonstrated experience in creating fluid and interactive data-driven applications.
• Demonstrable ability to engineer simple, elegant solutions to difficult problems.

Nice to have

• A strong interest in AI/ML and healthcare technology
• Experience leveraging LLM-enabled development tools such as Cursor, Windsurf 
• Familiarity with OMOP (Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership) data models and EHR (Electronic Health Record) data models is a plus.
