About the Role:

Are you passionate about data and curious about how it can drive smarter decisions in a manufacturing environment? We’re seeking an Engineering Data Analyst with a strong foundation in analytics and a practical understanding of engineering or manufacturing workflows. Key Responsibilities:


Data Preparation & Integration

  • Gather and consolidate data from multiple sources (e.g., ERP systems, SQL databases, Excel)  
  • Clean, validate, and standardize data for accuracy and consistency  
  • Automate data extraction and transformation using scripting languages  

Analysis & Modeling

  • Perform exploratory and statistical data analysis to identify trends and support decision-making  
  • Develop and refine data models and KPIs for process improvement  
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights  

Visualization & Reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI  
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders  
  • Develop custom reports based on stakeholder requests  

Collaboration & BI Support

  • Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to align reporting with business goals  
  • Assist IT and business units in deploying and integrating BI tools  
  • Provide user support and training for self-service analytics platforms  

Requirements

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering)  
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role  
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)  
  • Experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)  
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods and best practices in analytics  
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills  
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality  
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings to non-technical audiences  
  • Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles  
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is a plus
