About the role:

Lead Business Intelligence Engineers at Redkite are responsible for developing reporting solutions to enable clients in their decision-making. You will be part of a multi-skilled Redkite delivery team, working alongside talented individuals from all aspects of data to deliver high quality work. As a senior member of the BI team, you will also be in close contact with Microsoft to ensure we are leveraging their expertise and helping to shape the product as per client needs.

On a day-to-day basis you’ll be:

• Working with clients to understand their business and reporting needs
• Translating requirements into an easy-to-understand reporting solution
• Building systems and models that will enable engineers to deliver reporting solutions
• Developing optimised solutions to deliver accurate outputs in a timely manner
• Maintaining productive working relationships with all clients
• Leading BI workflows and interactions with clients
• Supporting team members within the BI capability

Requirements

You’ll do great here if you have:

• A results-oriented mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for data
• Confident and concise communication skills, with the ability to drive alignment, collaboration and efficiency within teams
• Experience in Building systems and models that will enable engineers to deliver reporting solutions
• Comfort with some travel to clients

As well as these technical skills:

• Experience working with Power BI and the DAX programming language & optimisation
• Power BI Semantic Modelling & Data Modelling
• Knowledge of data modelling fundamentals (e.g. Kimball modelling)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts
• A comprehensive understanding of performance optimisation in Power BI
• Awareness of Visualisation Best Practices
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies

It’s a bonus if you have:

• Knowledge of the various components of the Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Platform
• Worked on enterprise-level report development with an understanding of scalable solutions
• Experience working with clients as part of a consulting environment

💸Compensation
In addition to the competitive base salary you’ll also receive:
• Discretionary company performance related bonus
• Enabling business expenses to support you in your role - £400/pa allowance for equipment/technology for work, £100/pa allowance for self-directed learning in addition to learning and development provided, and a simple expenses policy to enable travel, team social events and celebrations and other spend required for your role
