Associate Director

Principal Accountabilities

A strong background in program management, technology implementation and data analytics with an extensive track record of successfully delivering complex Business Transformation programs, this role would lead and manage strategic programs and analyze business and financial data to develop meaningful insights regarding cost optimization at KPMG Global Services (KGS). The role would be responsible for managing diverse projects, entailing PMO support, technology implementation, process reengineering and data analytics, to ensure that the objectives and goals of the Strategic Program Management Office (SPMO) vertical, and of projects aligned to that vertical, are accomplished. S/he would report to the Head of SPMO at KGS.

 

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

§To lead and manage strategic programs & projects by liaising with various Functions and Business Units in KGS. The candidate should also be able to deliver complex high impact technology implementation projects for KPMG member firms in other countries. §Analyze and interpret financial and operational data and turn it into actionable insights which can offer ways to optimize costs in KGS, thus positively affecting business results. The candidate should be well versed in collection and interpretation of business & financial data, analyze results, identify patterns and trends in data sets, and present the findings to senior stakeholders in KGS. §Ensure that technology implementation projects are aligned with overall transformation objectives and timelines, and to advise and support stakeholders in Business Units and Functions in undertaking business transformation. §Enable appropriate linkages with other projects and initiatives within the business transformation landscape and confirm that appropriate ownership is taken of risks and dependencies between projects. §Ensure that projects under his/her purview are delivered in accordance with the KGS’ approach towards project management, including taking the lead in the crafting of feasibility studies, business cases.

Educational qualifications:

§MBA from a reputed B-School in India or overseas. §Graduate / Engineering background (BSc, BSc Statistics, B.E, etc.). §Power BI and Excel Macros (Mandatory). §PMP Certification (Preferred). §Expert in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint  

Work experience

•The candidate must have 14 to 18 years of overall experience in successfully executing complex projects end-to-end, pertaining to Project Management, Data Analytics & Visualization (using Power BI), Technology Implementation, Cost Optimization, and Process Re-engineering. •The candidate should have 6-10 years of experience in Data Analytics with a good knowledge of Power BI and Excel Macros, with good logical thinking. •Should have successfully implemented at least 10 to 12 projects and should be well versed with Project Management and Data Analytics methodologies, tools & applications. •Significant knowledge of Data Analytics and Visualization apps particularly Power BI is mandatory; and any other applications such as Python, Tableau, etc. is preferred. •Excellent knowledge and experience of using MS Office apps such as, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and MPP (for project planning).
