Your deep data science and engineering expertise, coupled with an original approach to your work, will guide clients and stakeholders as they make sense of their data and encourage actionable results. We’re looking for someone like you to lead complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with state estimation and object propagation techniques, remote sensing, real time messaging and programming languages, such as C++, or Python.

As an advanced data scientist or researcher on our Research Development Contract team, you’ll introduce innovative target estimation techniques, AI/ML methodologies and algorithm optimization improvements to make a real-world impact on protecting the homeland. You’ll share your skills in data science and predictive modeling to shape the future of analytics and missile warning or missile defense through a variety of means like conference presentations and sensor collections and intelligence gathering.

Whether you’re using AI to better predict object propagation, improving current technical intelligence, or advancing the Nation's capability to defend the nation, you’ll lead a team that serves critical missions from end to end.

You Have:  

• Experience with state estimation and object propagation techniques

• Experience with real time messaging services

• Experience with modern coding techniques  

• Knowledge of remote sensing phenomenologies

• Knowledge of advanced missile threats  

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Aerospace Engineering

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience in latest advances in AI/ML techniques 

• Experience with the Kalman Filter family of estimators and the advantages and disadvantages of each variant  

• Knowledge of multitarget tracking algorithms

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics or related Engineering field  

Clearance: 
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
