Senior Business Data Analyst

DUTIES: Monitor and review team-generated reports for accuracy and timely delivery. Define and develop user-friendly reports and graphics that integrate and convey complex data/information and maintain data catalog to provide key data sources to internal and external stakeholders. Conduct in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced statistical methods. Define, develop and deploy data, analytics and reporting products and services using various BI tools and data platforms, and leveraging finance domain experience. Conduct data validation, statistical analyses, and data mapping. Identify key business questions, solve ambiguous problems, define performance metrics, and develop insights by analyzing the data. Effectively convey complex business insights to high-level stakeholders, including CEO and CFO, via reporting deliverables. Test and use new technologies and regularly present feedback and suggestions to the head of the GBS organization. Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Lead projects from a high level, such as creating a project master timeline, designing different stages of the project, and coordinating efforts across teams. Up to 40% telecommuting permitted.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field and 2 years of experience. Must have work experience in each of the following: 1) use Enterprise Data Platforms, including Oracle, OBIEE, Hyperion, CWT, Datahub and SAP ERP; 2) use Power Query and SQL to import and transform multiple data sources within PowerBi Desktop; 3) use PowerBi Dax to setup multiple data source modeling/relations, calculate crucial business metrics and create RLS (Role-level Security) measures for different audience groups; 4) use core Power Automate desktop functionalities, including webpage click and PowerShell Script to create end-to-end reporting automations; and 5) leverage finance domain expertise in travel expense, AP and AR, revenue, budget and accounting data.

Salary Range: $93,974 - $149,200/year.
