May telecommute 2 days/wk. Dig deep into data to uncover trends, anomalies, + opportunities to convert into insights that inform design choices of model dev. Dev + deploy machine learning + AI models to derive insights from datasets + improve business processes + outcomes. Dev working knowledge of latest devs in data sci + insurance industry to incorporate new techniques into our processes. Dev + maintain efficient data pipelines. Coord w/ internal team to dev + deploy projects within required timelines. Collaborate w/ external partners to ensure timely deliveries w/in organizational constraints + understanding associated personal level of effort. Dev + demonstrate expertise on multiple projs, providing effective communication btwn data science + partner teams. Demonstrate organizational acumen; understanding needs of various groups + business units. May undergo background checks. Must have a Ph.D. in Data Science, Comp Sci, Stats, Math, or rel quantitative field and 2 yrs exp in a Data Science rel field or a Master’s degree in Data Science, Comp Sci, Stats, Math, or rel quantitative field and 3 yrs exp in a Data Science rel field. Also reqs skills (2 yrs exp) in: machine learning techniques; predictive modeling; SQL; rel scripting language; TensorFlow; PyTorch; Scikit-learn; AWS; Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud; Databricks; and Kubernetes; and (1 yr exp) in: multiple machine learning techniques in a production environment as part of a business solution. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Wage: $125,230 - $147,000 per year. A comprehensive benefits package – including but not limited to medical, dental and vision insurance; paid vacation, sick and parental leave; 401(K) plan; tuition assistance – is offered per the Company’s Total Rewards Program.

Annual Salary
$90,000.00 - $185,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
