The Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished Revenue Systems Analyst responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of revenue-related systems and infrastructure. This individual will partner with multiple organizations within Adobe, including Revenue Assurance and Accounting Operations, Technology Services, FP&A, BU Product Teams, Legal, Order Management, and others to ensure accuracy and consistency of external and internal financial accounting and reporting data within the framework of a myriad of strategic business projects. The candidate has a passion for problem solving and can work in high-visibility situations to assess, build, implement, and communicate the best solution to a broad and varied audience.
What you'll Do
- Provide process, system, and reporting solutions for evolving business challenges in the quote to cash arena that have material impact on various organizations throughout the company.
- Partner successfully with other teams including Corporate Accounting, Revenue Assurance, Corp FP&A, Credit, Order Management, Sales, Product Marketing, and Engineering to evaluate and articulate technical requirements and assess impacts, risks, and benefits of alternative solutions.
- Create metrics to measure and monitor the success of planned solutions during and after implementation
- Assess quarterly financial results and actively contribute to the accounting and finance close procedures.
- Build and maintain strong expertise in system knowledge and serve as a key resource for the Revenue Accounting and Operations team.
- Understand financial requests and apply the data science process to collect, prepare, and explore data; evaluate and validate key assumptions; build and maintain impactful models; and summarize and present results in a compelling manner
The Ideal Candidate:
- BA/BS in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum 3-5 years of related experience required (Software industry and/or CPA firm experience preferred).
- Ability to collaborate and build effective relationships with partners at various levels and across different roles both inside and outside of our organization.
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; ability to solve complex technical issues and develop thoughtful solutions
- Demonstrable experience with SQL is required at a minimum. Ability to apply Object-Oriented Programming languages like R, Python, or C# are a plus.
- Experience with SFDC, SAP, TM1, Tableau, PowerBI, and SnapLogic are a plus.
- Experience with relational database systems preferred.
- Consistent track record of delivery and ability to assess and prioritize competing demands
- Strong verbal and comprehension skills to capture business requirements and articulate corresponding technical requirements
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
