Job Title: Data Science Analyst II
Job Location: 475 Anton Blvd., Costa Mesa, CA 92626
Perform analysis on existing statistical/predictive models and explain analysis results to internal business teams and external clients; Perform ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) on modeling data; Perform fraud analysis, create new features for modeling; Create and implement machine learning models to detect fraud; Developing tools for data processing and model building; Collaborate with technology and other business teams; Data visualization of model performance metrics; Continual learning of new technologies and data science. May telecommute.
Qualifications
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or related field. Position requires experience in the following:
- Experience with Python scripting to create model building tools, generate model performance metrics and data mining.
- Experience with cloud tools, e.g. PySpark, to analyze big bureau data on the cloud.
- Experience evaluating and interpreting data from a statistical perspective with ELT ( extract, load, transform) tools such as open source Python/Pyspark tools and fraud analysis tools such as bivariate analysis.
- Experience with predictive modeling techniques, including feature engineering, feature reduction, machine learning algorithms
- Experience with presenting model performance and statistical findings to an audience who is not familiar with statistical modeling.
Additional Information
