The product and team:

You will improve customer experience by building a real-time data product based on customer activities. Our data product enables Swisscom to gain insights about the customer journey, a cross channel collection of customer activities and allows other teams within Swisscom to answer questions like: How to improve customer experience and Swisscom processes? What are the patterns bringing to a purchase or successful support case? Is online channel attracting more customers?

As Big Data Software Engineer you will:

• Develop and maintain distributed data streaming applications using open-source technologies on our existing big data platform

• Play a crucial role in the migration of our product to AWS and its subsequent maintenance and operations

• Design scalable architectures, identify and implement new product ideas

• As part of an agile team, you will evaluate emerging technologies and actively share your expertise to drive continuous improvement

• Salary from 2400 to 4100 EUR monthly gross

• 80 EUR monthly cell phone and internet allowance

Requirements

• Strong understanding of distributed systems

• Kubernetes, AWS, Proficiency in any JVM language

• Fast learner, proactive personality, and well-organized

• Good English
