Our Delta Operational team is looking for a Senior Consultant - Data Governance Specialist to help and support one of our clients a major player within the fund industry.

The Senior Consultant - Data Governance Specialist will have the following responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Partner with various teams to ensure consistent application of data policies and standards across departments.
  • Track and interpret regulatory obligations (e.g., ISO, EU data regulations), ensuring ongoing compliance across data-related activities.
  • Contribute to the rollout and ongoing monitoring of organization-wide data governance strategies.
  • Support the identification, resolution, and validation of data-related issues and monitor exception handling processes.
  • Promote data governance principles through awareness initiatives and support the organization of training sessions and internal communication efforts.

The Senior Consultant - Data Governance Specialist will also have the responsibility to animate the Delta Accounting tribe, participate to the development of the existing team, animating workshops and training internally and with third parties. As an operational consultant, the Senior Consultant - Data Governance Specialist will act as Subject Matter Expert to support other colleagues in case of expertise needs.  

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of Data Governance principles and the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBoK).
  • Familiarity with standards and regulations such as ISO 27K, ISO 38505, ISO 8000, ISO 42001, and EU Data Strategy regulations.
  • Experience drafting and implementing data policies and standards (data lifecycle, quality, security).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment.
  • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach to data governance challenges.
  • Experience or interest in raising awareness and conducting training campaigns related to data governance.
