Mynewsdesk is an international workplace with around 15 developers of diverse expertise split into different teams. The teams collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and test engineers to drive innovation and success. We believe that you perform at your best when working on tasks that are both fun and challenging. To support this, we have separate working tracks led by a product manager and teams guided by a technical engineering manager. You have the flexibility to choose and switch between different tracks or focus on a specific technical project if you prefer.

Our Stack

Our core platform is built primarily on Ruby on Rails in the backend paired with a React-powered frontend communicating via GraphQL. Our AI & data pipeline is likewise Rails-centric, supplemented by Python and Node components to ingest and process massive daily media-monitoring datasets and leverage advanced AI models for analysis. We store and query data in PostgreSQL, ClickHouse and Elasticsearch to balance transactional integrity with high-performance analytics. For seamless collaboration and delivery, we rely on GitHub, Jira, Slack and Google Workspace.

What will you do?

• Develop AI Solutions: Design and implement AI features to enhance content generation, media analysis, recommendations and other parts of our product.

• Prompt Engineering: Create and refine prompts to optimize the performance of LLMs for various tasks.

• Integrate AI into the Platform: Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate AI into our product suite..

• Evaluate and Optimize Models: Evaluate LLM models to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

• Collaborate and Share Knowledge: Coach other developers in AI best practices and contribute to company growth.

• Contribute to Platform Enhancement: Participate in discussions and implementations to improve our platform’s features and performance.

Who are you?

• Experienced with LLMs: You have hands-on experience working with Large Language Models to solve customer needs and understand how popular models behave differently.

• Skilled in Prompt Engineering: Experience in iterative prompt engineering to allow AI models to solve complex tasks efficiently at scale.

• Proficient in databases: You have hands-on experience working with relational and search-oriented databases like PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch to manage large-scale data.

• Integration Skills: You have experience in integrating AI solutions into applications built with Ruby and Node.js.

• Quality-Focused: Proud of your work and know how to balance quality with timely delivery.

• Product Enthusiast: Passionate about product development and enjoy seeing your solutions quickly deployed to production.

• Professional experience: +2 years

• Language Skills: Fluent English, both spoken and written, is required. Swedish is an advantage

• Availability: Able to work from our Stockholm office 2 days a week.
