At TIGen, we design protective solutions powered by Akamai's real-time cloud security intelligence. You'll play a key role in building a scalable, world-class big data platform that processes large volumes of data at scale. In this position, you'll work closely with various teams to develop advanced cloud services and environments for the TIGen Data Platform.

As a Senior Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing scalable big data solutions on cloud platforms
• Developing and maintaining data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and analyzing large datasets
• Creating new features from scratch, enhancing existing features, and optimizing existing functionality for an Akamai Big Data AI scale solution.
• Collaborating with various engineering teams, Data Science, product, and operations to develop one of the most innovative components of the product.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• 4+ years of experience in Data / Big Data positions.
• Have proficiency in Designing, Implementing& Monitoring data intensive solutions.
• Have proficiency in Object Oriented Programming Languages (Java / Scala / Python).
• Have proficiency in Distributed Compute Engines (Spark / Flink).
• Have experience with Algorithms and Data Structures.
• Have experience with Open Table Formats (Delta Lake / Iceberg / Hudi).
• Have experience with Streaming Technologies (Kafka / RabbitMQ / Amazon SQS).
