Data Analytics / Requirements Engineering - Working Student

Our team focuses on analyzing and defining high- and low-level technical requirements for cutting-edge Base Transceiver Station (BTS) software and hardware. You'll work side-by-side with engineers and technical specialists who are passionate about next-generation network technologies and scalable, data-driven solutions.

Position: Data Analytics/ Requirements Engineering trainee 
Duration: Part-time 6h/day
Location: Hybrid in Timisoara, Romania

• Analyze mobile network base stations (BTS) high level technical requirements for new projects.
• Analyze existing low level technical requirements and use cases to adapt them to the new projects.
• Collect data from system specialists, architects and technical leaders from various areas (BTS OAM, UPlane, Cplane, RFSW, platform sw etc.),
• Analyze impact of the projects on BTS software and hardware components,
• Based on the collected data and existing requirements analysis specify new or adapt legacy technical requirements and use cases for new projects.
• Organize the requirements/use cases review to ensure specification high quality
• Cooperate with software developers and testing teams to ensure the requirements are implemented and tested right way

Must have:

• Active student status (fields of study such as Computer Science, Telecommunications or other similar faculty as a plus)
• Good communication in English (both written and spoken)
• Very good analytical, problem decomposition skills and open-mindedness
• Positive attitude and willingness to solve not trivial problems
• Inquisitiveness, diligence, accuracy
• Quality orientation and learning agility
• Teamwork skills - the job requires a lot of discussions and agreements with other engineers across whole organization

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of version control system 
• Knowledge of UML (Unified Modelling Language)
• Basic knowledge of wireless technologies (4G, 5G… etc.)
