You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.The Principal Data Analyst will join the Strategic Marketing Operations (SMO) team as a senior contributor, driving data-informed decision-making across the EurAsia region. The role offers a unique opportunity to bring deep analytical expertise to high-impact initiatives and influence how data shapes strategic marketing. You’ll lead complex analyses, translate business challenges into scalable solutions, and design tools that make insights accessible and actionable across cross-functional teams.
This role is an integral part of the Strategic Marketing Operations (SMO) team for the EurAsia region, which leads cross-functional initiatives across diverse markets. You will engage directly with senior stakeholders in marketing, finance, and commercial teams to frame business problems, define analytical approaches, and deliver insights that inform strategy. Beyond technical execution, you will champion best practices, enable data-driven ways of working, and help elevate the overall analytics maturity of the organization.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Lead the development, transformation, and modelling of data to generate strategic and operational insights that inform high-level decision-making.
Design and maintain scalable, executive-ready dashboards and analytical tools using enterprise systems and BI platforms.
Serve as a key partner to IT, Centers of Excellence, Marketing, and Commercial teams, translating complex business questions into integrated data solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing analytical guidance that informs planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
Drive innovation through AI and automation initiatives by shaping use cases, preparing high-quality data inputs, and delivering prototype solutions.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field, or equivalent work experience
7+ years of experience in analytics or business intelligence roles, with a track record of delivering high-impact insights to senior stakeholders
Advanced SQL skills for querying, transformation and optimization in big data environments (e.g. Snowflake)
Expertise with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), with the ability to design intuitive, executive-level dashboards
Proficiency with data preparation and transformation tools (e.g. Knime, Tableau Prep, Power Query)
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous business questions into analytical approaches
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional analytics projects from design through delivery
Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all organizational levels
Strategic understanding of enterprise data architecture, including how enterprise systems and platforms interact within a connected ecosystem
Nice to have but not required:
Experience with a programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis, automation, or participation in AI initiatives.
Willingness to contribute to AI/ML projects.
Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and participating in innovation-driven projects.
