Mission and Goals (About The Role):

At SRL, we’re dedicated to staying ahead of rapidly evolving cyber threats through innovative research and development. As AI-powered attacks and scams grow more sophisticated, our mission is to create and deploy cutting-edge solutions that protect millions of users worldwide.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Scientist to join our team and contribute to state-of-the-art research in privacy, transparency, and AI-driven security solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work on impactful research that shapes the future of cybersecurity.

Objectives (What You Will Do In This Role):

  • Conduct advanced cybersecurity research in the areas of privacy, transparency, and AI.

  • Develop novel security solutions used across our global user base.

  • Analyze the latest cybersecurity threats and stay on top of current research trends.

  • Contribute to the development of AI models designed to detect and prevent emerging online scams.

Competencies (What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role):

  • Currently enrolled in the penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, AI, or a related field.

  • Strong research and technical writing skills.

  • Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.).

  • A problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

  • Fluent English communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).

  • Understanding of privacy and transparency issues, with exposure to relevant conferences.

  • Experience working on cross-functional projects.
