Job Description:
At Datasite, we’re looking to expand our team with a Product Analytics Engineer who has frontend experience in HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
This is a hybrid role (100% remote is not available), our employees work 1-2 days per week in our Heredia office.
Key Responsibilities:
Pendo Implementation & Setup:
Configure and deploy Pendo across web and mobile platforms.
Integrate Pendo with existing systems such as CRMs (like Salesforce), data cloud providers (like Snowflake), and collaboration platforms (like Atlassian).
Work with development teams to ensure proper tagging and tracking of user interactions within the product.
Product Analytics & Tracking:
Set up custom events and track user behavior to measure feature usage, product adoption, and customer journeys.
Collaborate with product managers to define success metrics and ensure those metrics are tracked correctly.
Help product teams build reports and dashboards to drive product decisions that improve business metrics and increase user satisfaction.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with product management, product marketing, UX, and development teams to ensure Pendo is being used effectively to meet business goals.
Train internal teams on how to leverage Pendo’s features and insights.
Act as the subject matter expert for Pendo within the organization, providing best practices and troubleshooting any issues.
Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
Regularly audit Pendo configurations to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy.
Stay updated on new Pendo features and tools, recommending changes or updates to the implementation.
Use A/B testing and data analysis to continuously improve user experience and product outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or comparable job/technical experience)
Experience with Pendo or other product analytics platforms.
2+ years in a similar role, especially in SaaS or tech companies.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to configure and troubleshoot Pendo tags and guides.
Experience with APIs and integrating Pendo with other tools and platforms.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using web analytics and user experience tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
Knowledge/experience with SQL
Communication Skills:
Bilingual – strong English experience including written – will work closely with global product managers and UX/UI teams.
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
Strong presentation skills for explaining technical concepts and product insights
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with customer data platforms (CDP) and integration of multiple analytics tools.
Familiarity with Agile development processes.
Certifications in product management or UX design.
